You must choose two targets as you cast Searing Blaze: a player and a creature that player controls. Firedancer combos with cardSearing Blaze/card, which was already something of a 2-for-1 in dedicated burn decks. If the creature is destroyed while Searing Blaze is still on the stack, it will resolve and do 1 (or 3) damage to the player that you targeted when you cast it. ![]() Once the spell resolves, having a land enter the battlefield under your control provides no further benefit. Since Searing Blaze states both 'target player' and 'target creature that player controls', it has two targets. The landfall ability checks for an action that has happened in the past. Having more than one land enter the battlefield under your control this turn provides no additional benefit.
